Following feedback from town and parish councils, Cornwall Council will be sending you an info-graphic in the near future with facts and figures about the winter maintenance service and Cormac’s operations. As in previous years, there will be no rubbish and recycling collections on Christmas Day or Boxing Day.
Collections due on Christmas Day:
These details will be posted to residents of Cornwall as part of their collection calendar. Further information is available at www.cornwall.gov.uk/christmas. Cornwall Council will collect real Christmas trees (under 6ft) for composting on the weeks beginning 6 January and 13 January. They will collect trees on the alternate week to your recycling collection. Please place your tree out for collection beside your rubbish. If you have any questions, please contact Waste and Recycling team on 0300 1234 141. The time of your Christmas and New Year collections may vary, but the day remains the same unless your collection is due on Christmas Day or Boxing Day.
